Motorzone Vehicle Returns & Refund Policy
At Motorzone, we are committed to supplying quality used vehicles and treating all customers fairly in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Deposits
All vehicle deposits are strictly non-refundable. A deposit reserves a vehicle and removes it from sale, resulting in lost sales opportunities and vehicle preparation costs.
A deposit will only be refunded where Motorzone is unable to supply the vehicle as agreed or where a significant mechanical fault exists at the point of collection or delivery that entitles the customer to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Vehicle Returns
If you believe your vehicle has developed a fault, you must notify Motorzone immediately.
Motorzone reserves the right to inspect the vehicle and, where appropriate, carry out a repair or provide a replacement before any refund is considered. Refunds will only be provided where required by law or where a repair or replacement is unsuccessful or not appropriate.
Vehicle Inspection
All vehicles returned for a refund request will undergo a full mechanical and condition inspection. This inspection will determine:
* Whether the reported fault exists.
* Whether the fault was present at the time of collection or delivery.
* Whether the vehicle qualifies for a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
No refund will be authorised until this inspection has been completed.
Administration & Usage Charges
Where a refund is agreed in circumstances where such deductions are legally permitted, Motorzone reserves the right to deduct:
* An administration charge of £500 to cover vehicle preparation, administration, advertising, valeting and associated sales costs.
* A usage charge of £0.45 per mile for any mileage driven following collection or delivery to reflect depreciation and vehicle use.
These deductions will only be applied where permitted by applicable consumer legislation and will not affect your statutory rights.
Refund Processing
Once a refund has been approved, it will be processed using the original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days from the date the refund is authorised for the funds to clear.
Customer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Motorzone will always act in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
